Essential, space-saving, extraordinary
Istante is the purest expression of a convertible sofa in the Campeggi collection: the folded mattress and feather cushions naturally form the backrest and seat, without any additional structures. The result is a compact, space-saving sofa bed that blends naturally into its surroundings while retaining a distinctive character. The sleeping surface is supported by layered beechwood slats with resin shock absorbers, while the high-density polyurethane foam mattress is 12 cm thick. Istante is available as an 85×187 cm sleeper chair, a 120×187 cm three-quarter sofa bed and a 160×187 cm double sofa bed. The two-fold opening mechanism transforms it into a bed instantly. Just as the name suggests.

FAQ
Is Istante a space-saving sofa bed suitable for small spaces?
Istante was created for spaces where simplicity is essential. It is a space-saving sofa bed in the most literal sense: no unnecessary bulk, no redundant elements.
How is Istante constructed? Is it handcrafted?
Yes. The Istante compact sofa bed is made with the renowned attention to construction that defines the entire Campeggi collection. The sleeping surface with layered beechwood slats reflects a level of craftsmanship that ensures lasting support and durability. The 12 cm polyurethane foam mattress provides maximum comfort.
What accessories are available for Istante?
Istante can be completed with an optional right or left armrest, adjustable to three positions and featuring resin shock absorbers. An optional small table in white enameled steel is also available for either the right or left side: functional details that expand the possibilities for use without compromising the lightness of the design.
