

Lorenzo Damiani reinterprets a timeless item, the traditional folding deckchair with fabric seat, with small innovations increasing its comfort and convenience.
Soleil (2019) is a deckchair that can be stacker and carried around, with a seat made of an elegant outdoor fabric and a soft headrest roll.



Born in 1972, Lorenzo Damiani graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and obtained a master’s degree in industrial design at the Polytechnic School of Design.
His areas of intervention vary from furniture and product design. He has worked with several companies including Campeggi, Cappellini, Ceramica Flaminia, Montina, Illy Caffè, IB Rubinetterie, Diamantini & Domeniconi, BBB Emme Bonacina, Lavazza.
In 2009, the Triennale Design Museum dedicated him a solo exhibition “But where are the Inventors? Lorenzo Damiani “curated by Marco Romanelli. In 2012, two other exhibitions followed: Lorenzo Damiani: No Style, curated by Giovanna Castiglioni, held at the Foundation Achille Castiglioni and “Catch Me”, curated by Silvana Annichiarico, at the Milan Triennale.
