Canispè
The Canispè seat welcomes you to relax physically and psychically, and invites you to experience moments of wellbeing alone or in company. On the “Canispè” it is possible to be in pairs wrapped in a high backrest, resting one’s shoulders and stretching out on its surface, or to lie down and seek quiet or even to play together with the most faithful pet, our dog. The “Canispè” in fact surprises by housing a soft kennel inside, which can be easily removed, used freely and then repositioned. A hybrid animal-loving type, an intimate place that allows multiple postures, an iconic and soft shape that provides a warm sensory experience in the home.

Born in Palermo in 1965, in 1983 Giovanni Levanti graduated in Architecture at the Università degli Studi di Palermo.
In 1984, he moved to Milan where he obtained a master in Master in Industrial Design at Domus Academy.
From 1985 to 1990 he worked for Andrea Branzi and in 1991 he started his on studio.
He works as a designer for Azzurra, Campeggi, Cassina, Diamantini&Domeniconi, Domodinamica, Edra, Foscarini, In The Room (Jp) Marutomi (Jp), Memphis, Nagano (Jp), Pallucco, Salviati, Serafino Zani, Twergi-Alessi.
Since 1986 his works have been displayed in several international exhibitions and are a permanent part of prestigeous design museum collecitions: Triennale Design Museum, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Lecturer at the Università degli Studi di Palermo, at ISIA (Faenza), NABA (Milan) and project leader at Domus Academy (Milan).
He lives and works in Milan.
