Glass House, designed by Eligo Studio in Arenzano, transforms a former garden shed into a light-filled guest house set within the coastal pine forest. Inspired by Jean Prouvé’s prefabricated architecture and reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, the project combines sustainability, craftsmanship and a deep respect for the Ligurian landscape, establishing a dialogue with the legacy of the great Italian masters who shaped its context.
Conceived as the guest house for the historic Casa Arosio, originally designed by Vico Magistretti, the interiors naturally feature Ospite, the folding bed, and Piccy, Magistretti’s iconic folding armchair. Their presence creates a meaningful connection between past and present, celebrating a shared vision of architecture, transformability and everyday living.
