House for Two Sisters, designed by Eligo Studio, reimagines an apartment within Milan’s iconic Porta Romana residential complex, affectionately known by locals as the “UFO”. The project transforms the original home into two independent residences while preserving the character of the 1960s architecture, restoring original features such as the exposed concrete structure and Douglas wood window frames to create a dialogue between heritage and contemporary living.
Designed to provide both flexibility and independence, the new layout retains the fluid spatial quality envisioned in the original project. Within this context, Ospite naturally complements the interiors, offering a transformable solution that responds to everyday needs while respecting the architectural language of the home.
